This saw is made by Thomas Flinn of Sheffield England the last traditional saw and plane maker in the UK and co-branded Pax / Taytools. This Veneer Saw with its curved blade is made to slice veneers, enable cuts to be started in the center of a panel of wood and for other inlaying work. Saw plate is 0.015 inches thick with no set for smooth and controlled cutting. The handle is made from solid Walnut. Blade size is 3 inches long by 3/4 inches wide with 20 TPI. Saw plate is made from high carbon allow steel for durability and ease of sharpening. The teeth can be resharpened.
